For the year 2016, CAT  will be conducted on December 4, 2016. The result for the CAT Exam will be declared in the month of January in 2017. More than 2 Lakh students participated in CAT 2015 and a similar number is expected for CAT 2016. Naturally CAT 2016 results are much anticipated. CAT results include the percentile scored in the CAT exam. Candidates who secure the required percentage are then called for the next round of selection which includes Group Discussion, Written Ability Test, and Personal Interview.

The CAT Result will be declared on the CAT official website and can be downloaded by logging in to candidate’s profile. The official CAT score will contain percentile score, scaled score and marks scored in each section inCAT exam. The percentile scored will be communicated to the candidates on the mobile number provided by them during the CAT Registration.

Steps to check CAT 2016 results

CAT 2016 Results, in all probability, will be declared in the second week of January 2017. The percentile scored by a candidate will be sent via SMS to each candidate on their registered mobile number. However, to check the complete CAT 2016 score and marks scored in each section, a candidate will have to log in on the CAT Official website and download their score card.

The step-wise process to download result for CAT 2016 is given below:

1. Go to the official website for CAT.
2. At the bottom of the right hand corner of the home page you will find a login tab.
3. Click on the Existing “User button”.
4. You will be redirected to the login page.
5. Enter your login id and password.
6. You will be redirected to your candidate’s account page.
7. Click on Download Score card link and download your score card.

Once downloaded, take a print out of your CAT 2016 score card and keep it alongside other requisite documents necessary for CAT 2016 selection procedure.

These are provided on the score card to verify the identity of the test taker.

Candidate’s Contact Details

This includes a candidate’s postal address and their email id provided during registration for CAT 2016.

Category Details

Category details include information if the candidate is from General, NC-OBC, or SC/ST category. The CAT 2016 score card also shows a candidate’s PwD/DA status.
