All India Pre Medical/ Pre Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT 2017) is a national level entrance exam that is organized every year for admission in MBBS/BDS programmes. AIPMT is managed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). As compared to the previous last years, this exam is conducted in the month of May 2017 (tentative). In this article, we are updating the detailed information about AIPMT 2017 that includes eligibility and qualification criteria, application form, admit card, result and counselling.

AIPMT 2017 Application Form
The AIPMT exam has been replaced by NEET exam as per the order of Hon. Supreme court of India. NEET 2017 will be conducted for admission to MBBS/BDS Seats in all government, private & state medical colleges of the country.
AIPMT 2017 application form will be available through online process only. The form will be provided from the official website of the AIPMT. The application form won’t provide through offline mode. The application form of the AIPMT will be available in the month of December 2017 (tentative). In application form candidate have advised to fill the qualification code, Center of Examination, category, exam medium, gender carefully. There is no changes will be allowed after submitting the application form. There is no need to submit the application form through offline mode. Only one application form will be accepted by the conducting authority.
Before the form filling, candidates make the following preparation:
- Scanned images of the latest Photograph (size of 10 Kb to 100 Kb)
- Signature (size of 3 Kb to 20 Kb)
- Right Hand Index Finger Impression (size of 3 Kb to 20 Kb)
Application Fee
The Application form fee will be deposited through the given ways: By Credit Card/Debit Card, Remittance through e-Challan by depositing in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank or HDFC Bank, Net Banking and E-wallet of the Common Services Centre.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualification
Candidates have to fulfill the given eligibility criteria to appear in the AIPMT (now NEET). The AIPMT eligibility includes age criteria and educational qualification that is given here.
Age Criteria:
- Candidates must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidates have to complete the age of 17 years or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
- The upper age limit for the candidates who belong to Gen (UR) category is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the examination. There is 5 years relaxation for the Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) /Other Backward Classes (OBC) category.
- Candidates who belong to the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and J & K are not eligible for the 15% all India quota seats. Candidates of these states can appear in AIPMT only to get admission in AFMC, Pune.
- All India Pre Medical Entrance Test is also commonly known as AIPMT 2017. The AIPMT is a national level UG medical entrance exam which is officially conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. AIPMT is conducted for the students who want to take admission into MBBS and BDS in various medical colleges across the country. 15% of total seats in medical and dental colleges in India, except in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir are reserved for the students who pass AIPMT Entrance Exam. Approx. 2200 MBBS and 200 BDS seats are made available through this exam. According to the official notification from CBSE Board AIPMT 2015 Entrance Exam shall schedule in May 2017.

- The candidate should have scored minimum 50% of marks in following subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English. Or their equivalency determined as per regulations of Medical Council of India and the concerned university.
- The candidate must have completed 17 years and should not exceed 25 years as on December 31 of the year of admission. The age limit for SC, ST and OBC shall be relaxed to 5years.
- Candidates, who have appeared for the intermediate examination and are awaiting for their results are eligible to apply for this entrance exam.
- Students from the states of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible to apply.
