PGIMER Nursing Programmes
- B.Sc Nursing (4 Years) programme (only for female applicants)
- B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic) – 2years programme
Number of seats for different courses is given below:
B.Sc Nsg (4 yrs): 93 Seats (Gen – 47, SC – 14, ST – 07, OBC – 25 & PWD – 03)
B.Sc Nsg (Post Basic): 62 Seats (Gen – 22, SC – 07, ST – 04, OBC – 14 for PGI Staff – 15 & PWD-02)
Eligibility Criteria for BSc Nursing Admission
B.Sc Nursing (4 years) – only for female applicants (Course Code-BSC/024)
The
minimum educational requirement shall be 10+2 examination passed with
Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or any other exam as equivalent
thereto with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate.
Applicants
appearing in +2 examination in April-May 2016 can also apply for the
course, but they will be issued Admit card/Roll numbers only if they
submit the certificates/marks sheet from the respective Boards of their
having passed the +2 exam to the Principal, NINE by 10 days before the
commencement of the entrance exam.
Age Limit: Not more than 25 years and not less than 17 years on September 1st 2017 i.e. those born after 01st Sept.-2000 and before 1st Sept. 1992 are not eligible.
B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic) – (Course Code- BSC/023)
Applicants must have passed 10+2 or any other examination equivalent thereto.
Applicants must have passed General Nursing and Midwifery with minimum of 50percent aggregate.
Registered
Nurse and Registered Midwife qualified from a recognized Institute and
registered with respective State Nursing Council as approved by Indian
Nursing Council (INC) or substitute registration in case of male
candidates fully qualified for nursing of men, women and children.
Fees & Other dues (Per Annum)
B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic): Tuition Fee – Rs.250/-, Library Fee Rs.40/-; Game Fee Rs.20/-; Laboratory Fee Rs.120/-; Amalgamated Fund Rs.120/-.
B.Sc Nursing: Tuition Fee – Rs.250/-, Library Fee Rs.30/-; Game Fee Rs.15/-; Laboratory Fee Rs.120/-; Amalgamated Fund Rs.120/-
PGIMER B.Sc. 2017 Application Form
According the official notification, the
PGIMER invite the candidates for the application form which give the
admission in the academic year 2017-18 in B.Sc. Nursing Course. The
candidates are suggesting submit their application form on or before
last date in online mode. After the last date the application form will
be rejected by the officials. Candidate’s admission will be based on
their performance in the examination. It is expected that this year huge
number of students apply for PGIMER B.Sc. Nursing and try to give their
best in the entrance exam. Candidates pay the application fee through
SBI Challan or DD from the name of “Director PGIMER, Chandigarh”.

PGIMER Entrance Exam 2017 Admit Card
PGIMER B.Sc. Admit Card 2017 and Roll
Number will be issued to only those candidates whose application form is
found complete in all respects. All candidates must notice that they
bring their admit card for the examination. No candidates will be
allowed to take the examination without producing the PGIMER 2017 Admit
card. The admit card will be available on official website.
