NEET 2016 Result will
be declared on 17 August 2016. It is important to note here that the
result of NEET Phase 1 and 2 will release altogether. The link to check
the result will be uploaded below as it will be released using which the
candidates can check the same. It will contain the name of all the
qualifiers. The NEET1 was conducted on 1 May and NEET-2 was held on 24
July 2016. On the basis of the result, the merit list will be prepared

How to Access NEET 2017 Result
By following the simple steps given below, the candidates will be able to access the NEET 2016 Result by CBSE.
The candidate should provide the
information as per the exam they have appeared for like NEET 1, NEET 2
or for both. It is advised to the candidates to enter all the details
in the above portal accurately. In case any of the provided information
is invalid, the result will not be generated.
NEET 2016 Result Phase 1 and 2 – Clarification
The candidates should not get confused
between NEET 1 and 2. The AIPMT which was conducted on 1st May 2016 is
NEET 1. As the result of both the exams are releasing together
candidates might have confusion on how to check it. All the candidates
who appeared for either of the exams need to use the Roll No. and
Registration to check their result. The window to check the result will
be active as soon as it releases.
NEET 2016 Result – Qualifying Marks
In the year 2013, as per the information
brochure , the general candidates need to score 50th percentile, the
minimum marks for OBC was 40th percentile. In the year 2014, it was
changed to 50% and 40% for the respective categories instead of
percentile. To provide a fair idea about the qualifying marks about the NEET 2016 the table has been provided below.

- The result of NEET 2016 will consist of candidate’s name, category, All India Rank, Cut off and total marks obtained in each subject, i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology
NEET 2016 Result Inter Se Merit:
If two candidates score equal marks in NEET result 2016, then the tie breaking issue will be resolved as per given procedure:
- Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in NEET 2016
- Candidates obtaining higher marks in Chemistry
- Candidates with less number of attempted wrong questions in all the subjects in NEET 2016
- Candidates older in age to be preferred
Based on the cut off score of NEET 2016, CBSE will prepare a NEET 2016 Merit list for all the qualified candidates as per their marks range. Marks range means a range of score from the highest to lowest level with a category.
For eg: In case of last year’s AIPMT Result, for providing admissions under 15% All India Quota seats, 695 was the highest score while 453 was the lowest within the general category. This further means, all the candidates belonging to general category securing between 695 to 453 marks were called for counselling for 15% All India Quota seats.

As per the merit list and cut off of NEET 2016, candidates will be called for 15% All India Quota seats counselling. The counselling will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in online mode before September 30, as per the Supreme Court’s order.
