Result of Civil Services Examination is declared in three stages.
UPSC CSAT Prelims Result – Prelims is the first stage towards selection in the services.
UPSC Civil Services Mains Result – On the basis of
the Result of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2016 held by the
Union Public Service Commission, the candidates with the following Roll
Numbers have qualified for the Personality Test for selection to the
Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police
Service and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’).
UPSC Civil Services Final Result – The result of
mains (written) and personality test / interview will determine the
final list of candidates selected for Indian Administrative Services,
Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and Other Central
Services (Group A and B)

UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result 2016 has been announced after the
successful conduct of examination. The candidates who qualify in Civil
Services (Preliminary) Examination, will be eligible to appear for Civil
Services (Mains) Examination 2016 and Indian Forest Service (Main)
Examination.

- Date of IAS Mains exam is from 3rd December 2016.
- All those who have qualified can fill DAF from 7th October 2016 until 20th October 2016.
UPSC Civil Services Mains Results 2016 – IAS Mains Result 2016
The total number of vacancies to be filled on the result of UPSC Civil Services is around 1079. Candidates
called for the Mains Examination, and Personality Test (Interview) is
around twelve to thirteen times, and two times the number of vacancies
respectively. The result of UPSC Civil Services Mains is thus expected
to have around 2800 – 3000 candidates.
Result of UPSC IAS Mains
exam will probably be announced in January, 2017. This will be followed
by conduct of personality test and interview.

On the basis of the Result of the Civil Services (Main) Examination,
2016 held by the Union Public Service Commission, the candidates
having Roll Numbers in result are qualified for the Personality Test.
The Personality Test for these candidates is likely to commence as
per schedule (will be notified later). Personality Tests will be held in
the Office of the Union Public Service Commission. Detailed program for
the Personality Test will be uploaded on the Commission’s website.
The e-Summon letters will be made available on the Commission’s
website. The Qualified candidates who are unable to download their
e-Summon Letters from the Commission’s Website at least 5 days before
the commencement of the said Personality Test / Interview should
immediately contact the Office of the Commission.
UPSC CSAT 2016 Preliminary Result – UPSC Civil Services 2016 result for prelims is the first stage towards selection in the services. UPSC Civil Services Cut off - Candidates have to secure minimum marks as per their category to qualify the entrance exam. The cut off score is the minimum marks which is decided by UPSC to select candidates for next stage of selection process.
