Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS) in Bikaner The Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner is a newly constituted body established under sub section (3) of section 1 of the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Act, 2010 consequent to carving out of units pertaining to veterinary & animal sciences from Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner and Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur. The University came in to existence on 13th day of May, 2010 with His Excellency the Governor of Rajasthan as the Chancellor of the University. Professor A.K. Gahlot was appointed as first Vice Chancellor of the University.

। वेटरनरी विष्वविद्यालय के संघटक वेटरनरी काॅलेज, बीकानेर में बी.वी.एस.सी. एण्ड ए.एच. पाठयक्रम में सत्र 2017 के प्रथम वर्ष में अखिल भारतीय प्री-वेटरनरी टेस्ट -2017 की मेरिट के आधार पर आयोजित काऊंसलिंग के बाद 85 सीटों पर प्रवेष सोमवार को पूरे हो गए। विष्वविद्यालय के स्नातक चयन बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष प्रो. ए.पी. सिंह ने बताया कि वेटरनरी काॅलेज बीकानेर में 85 स्टेट कोटे की सीटों पर प्रवेष के लिए काऊंसलिंग की गई जिनमें 60 रेग्यूलर और 25 पेमेन्ट सीट शमिल है। प्रवेश काऊंसलिंग के द्वितीय चरण में सोमवार को शेष रही 9 पेमेन्ट सीटों पर प्रवेश दिया गया। 15 प्रतिषत ए.आई.पी.वी.टी. कोटा सीटों पर प्रवेष वेटरनरी कौंसिल आॅफ इण्डिया द्वारा किया जाएगा।

The oldest constituent college of the University is College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Bikaner, established in 1954, is the oldest Veterinary College in the state. The University is located in heritage and palatial buildings of erstwhile Ganga Avenue housing the College of Veterinary and Animal Science, Bikaner (since 1954) and is spread over 200 acres of land. It has a sanctioned strength of 104 faculty out of which 94 are in teaching and 13 in research. The other constituent college of this University is the College of Veterinary and Animal Science, Navania-Vallabhnagar, Udaipur.

Diploma in Animal Husbandry Programme AHDPDuration: 2 years
Eligibility: Should have passed 10+2 with with physics, Chemistry and biology or Agriculture stream subjects with biology and must not be less than 17 years and not more than 28 years.

Duration: 5 year duration (four and half year course work and internship of 6 months)
Eligibility: .Should have passed 10+2 with with physics, Chemistry and biology or Agriculture stream subjects with biology and must not be less than 17 years.
Admission Procedure: The selection of students for admission to B.V.Sc. & AH. Degree Course shall only be on the basis of merit through a RPVT competitive entrance examination.

M.V.Sc.
Duration: 2 Years
Eligibility: The candidate must have passed B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree examination of RAJUVAS, Bikaner, or an examination declared equivalent to it with not less than 6.00/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage (i.e. 60%) of marks for general category candidates and 5.50/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage (i.e. 55%) of marks for OBC/SC/ST/ category candidates.

Ph.d
Eligibility: The candidate must have passed Master’s degree in respective/related subjects from RAJUVAS, Bikaner, or an examination declared equivalent to it with not less than 6.50/10 or equivalent OGOPA/equivalent percentage of marks for general category candidates and 6.0/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for SC/ST/PH category candidates. For Animal Biotechnology the candidate having degree of M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Microbiology/Veterinary Biochemistry/Physiology and Biochemistry/Animal Genetics and Breeding/Obstetrics and Gynaecology/Animal Nutrition or M.Sc./ M.Tech in Animal Biotechnology/Biotechnology will be eligible.

Haryana B.ed Admission 2016-17 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor Degree or in the Master’s Degree or any other qualification recognized as equivalent there to are eligible for admission in B.ED Course.

IGNOU B.Ed Admission Procedure

Admission Procedure for the IGNOU B.Ed Programme is very easy However, admissions conduct Regional Centre-wise on the basis of the score obtained by the candidates in the entrance test. There is no minimum or maximum limit for the age to take admission in the IGNOU B.Ed Programme. Applicants/Candidates are only required to submit the duly filled application form with attested copies of required documents as specified in Entrance-cum-Admission Form. After entrance test & getting selected candidates will receive an offer letter for admission from the Regional Centre, then original documents will be required to submit.

IGNOU B.Ed Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have possessed following eligibility criteria defined by IGNOU for B.Ed Programme:

1. A Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Degree from a Recognize University in any discipline with 50% of marks.

 2. Years full time teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis as Primary/Graduate/Post Graduate teacher in a primary, secondary/higher/senior secondary school and candidate should be in service at the time of submitting application form & producing the original documents at the Regional Centre. The certificate of experience should be issued by the Principal or Headmaster/ Headmistress only.

In Case of reservation, for SC/ST/O.B.C (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates and other categories shall be done as per Central Government rules.
5% percent marks relaxation in favour of SC/ST/Kashmiri Migrant and other categories candidates, if any, as per Govt. of India Rules.

IGNOU B.Ed Fee Structure

As far as B.Ed programme fee structure is concern, a candidate has to pay Lump sum Rs. 20,000/- for the entire programme in the first year and fee should be paid only through a Demand Draft (D.D) drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at the city where your Regional Centre is situated. For example: IGNOU, Regional Centre, Agra 0123456.
Note: Please write your name and programme name in capital letters on the back of the (D.D) Demand Draft.

IGNOU B.Ed:  Course Duration

Minimum duration of the B.Ed programme is 2 years. On the other hand, Maximum period is 4 years for completing the course.

IGNOU B.Ed  Entrance Exam  

        
Every year Entrance Test for B.Ed programme is being held usually, in the month of August and Hall tickets are made available to the candidates before 10 days of the Entrance Test. Candidates can download Hall Ticket from IGNOU website, In case of non-receipt of Hall Ticket and further, report to Regional Examination Centre for appearing in the Entrance exam

Eligibility

  • The admission is open to boys for Class VI and Class IX only.  At the time of admission, the candidate should have passed Class V for entry into Class VI and Class VIII for entry into Class IX.

Age

  • For Class VI, the candidate should be more than ten (10) years and less than eleven (11) years of age on First of July of the year of admission.  For Class IX, the candidate should be more than thirteen (13) years and less than fourteen (14) years of age on First of July of the year of admission.

Reservation

  • 67% of the seats are reserved for domiciles of Punjab.  Short-fall if any, and remaining seats will be thrown open to boys from other States/Union Territories.  The distribution of the seats available is as under:-
  1.  Defence personnel and Ex-servicemen: 25%
  2. Scheduled Caste: 15%
  3. Scheduled Tribes: 7.5%

Entrance Examination

  • Admission to Class VI and Class IX is granted strictly on the basis of an All India Entrance Examination which is conducted simultaneously at various centres throughout Punjab  in the month of January.  The tentative centres in Punjab are Kapurthala, Amritsar, Faridkot, Ludhiana and Patiala.  The centre opted by the candidate as mentioned in the Call-Up letter will be final and no request for the change shall be entertained.  The written tests for  Class VI and Class IX are as under
