JEE Main 2017 Admit Card Available at jeemain.nic.inJEE Main Admit Card 2017 - The admit card of JEE Main 2017 is now available from March 14 onwards. To download JEE Main 2017 admit card, candidates have to enter their application number, date of birth and security pin. JEE Main admit card 2017 is available in online mode only. Applicants have to note that the admit card of JEE Main 2017 will not be sent individually to any applicant. It is important for all of the applicants to keep JEE Main 2017 admit card safe till the counselling and admission procedure is completed. The admit card of JEE Main 2017 carries applicant's name, exam timings, centre details, application number and more information. The admit card is an important document that all applicants will have to bring to the examination centre. Candidates who forget their JEE Main hall ticket or are unable to produce the same at the examination hall will not be allowed to sit for the JEE Main exam. Applicants will have to bring their identity proof to the exam centre along with JEE Main 2017 admit card.

As per the information updated by CBSE, while downloading the JEE Main 2017 admit card, the applicants will be able to enter/update their roll number of 12th standard/improvement examination.

Before downloading the admit card of JEE Main 2017, all of the applicants are requested to cross-check the particulars reflecting on it like the document like name, date of birth, paper, gender, test centre, state code of eligibility and category, city and more. In case of any discrepancy, the applicants must report immediately to the JEE Main Secretariat.

How to download JEE Main Admit Card 2017?


The following steps can be used by the applicants to download the admit card of JEE Main 2017.
  • The link to download JEE Main 2017 Admit Card is available below.  
  • The applicants will be redirected to the admit card portal.
  • Enter JEE Main 2017 Application Number, date of birth and security pin in the admit card window
  • Click on “Submit” button.
  • The admit card will be reflected on your computer screen. Check and ensure that all the details on it are correct and download it. After downloading take a print out for future use.

Documents to be carried along with JEE Main Admit Card 2017
Last year, the examination authority asked candidates to bring photocopy of the documents (as per following applicable criteria) on the JEE Main exam day and submit the same to the invigilator at the examination centre. However, CBSE has not yet issued any notice regarding the same for JEE Main 2017 but candidates are advised to keep these documents with them and bring it to exam centre if they are asked to do so.

Important Instructions for Candidates who Appears in JEE Main 2017

  • Candidates are advised to check the JEE Main 2017 admit card carefully for their name, paper, date of birth, gender, test centre name, city, state code of eligibility and category. In case of any discrepancy, they must contact JEE (Main) Secretariat for necessary action
  • Admit Card of JEE Main 2017 issued provisionally to the candidate is subject to their satisfying the eligibility conditions
  • Candidates are advised to reach their designated JEE Main 2017 exam centres at least 02 hours 30 minutes before the commencement of exam
  • Candidates have to go through the frisking and registration formalities before the exam. The registration desk will be closed 05 minutes prior to the examination
  • The candidate must show the JEE Main Admit Card 2017 as and when it is demanded in the examination room/hall
  • A candidate who does not possess the valid admit card issued by the CBSE will not be permitted for the examination under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent
  • The candidates claiming the relaxation under PwD category must carry with them the copy PwD certificate along with the JEE Main 2017 admit card. The PwD certificate should be carried in prescribed format, as issued by the Competent Authority
  • No candidate, under any circumstances, will be allowed to enter the examination centre after the commencement of the examination.
  • A seat indicating roll number will be allocated to each candidate. Candidate should find out and occupy their allotted seat only. Any candidate found to have changed room or the seat on his/her own other than allotted, his/her candidature shall be canceled and no plea would be accepted for it
  • No Candidate will be allowed to carry any baggage inside the exam centre of JEE Main
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any materials like calculators, pen, slide rules, log tables, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, printed or written material, bits of papers, mobile phone, pager or any other device, except the JEE main 2017 Admit Card
  • Approach the Centre Superintendent/Invigilator in the room for any technical assistance, first aid emergency or any other information during the examination.
  • Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as instructed by the Centre Superintendent/Invigilators and approach the same in the room for any technical assistance
